In the last several years, members of the law firm of Martin & Seibert, L.C. have been recognized in national publications and have received much individual recognition. Last week, Clarence E. Martin, III, Walter M. Jones, III and Susan R. Snowden were again selected for inclusion in the national publication of Super Lawyers, a magazine that names attorneys in each state who received the highest point totals, as chosen by their peers and through independent research. Michael M. Stevens was also selected to appear in Rising Stars, a selection of the state's top up-and-coming attorneys.
Mr. Martin, Mr. Jones, and Mrs. Snowden have been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers for each consecutive year since 2007. This recognition is only available for the top 5% of the lawyers in the state. The attorneys and staff of Martin & Seibert, L.C. were also honored as a “Go-To” law firm for the nation’s “Leading Financial Services Companies in 2007.” This special edition publication, distributed by ALM (formerly American Lawyer Media), the company that publishes Corporate Counsel magazine, also individually recognized Mr. Jones within the publication for his litigation experience and his defense of commercial, extra-contractual claims and class actions. The firm was recognized again in 2008, 2009, and 2010 as a “Go-To” law firm in the publication, “At the Top 500 Companies.” The firm has been recognized in a feature on West Virginia in U.S. News and World Report.
The firm has attorneys who are licensed to practice law in many states and the firm accepts clients in litigation and business matters primarily in the States of Maryland and West Virginia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The firm is a boutique litigation defense firm that has been involved in some of the largest class actions and mass torts in the country.
