E. Kay Fuller has been selected by Corporate Counsel magazine as one of the country's top lawyers in civil litigation defense. Kay is one of only 14 lawyers in West Virginia to receive this distinction and one we think is well deserved.
Kay is the director of Martin & Seibert's litigation department and maintains an active practice defending insurers, agents and insureds in bad faith, coverage and appellate matters. She has recently obtained two favorable decisions of the West Virginia Supreme Court on coverage issues of first impression and is currently involved on privacy issues that affect all insurers.
Kay counsels public and private clients and is also heavily involved in training for our clients. She is widely recognized as an expert in bad faith and related insurance issues and is a member of the faculty of DRI for its upcoming Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium in New York in December.
Ms. Fuller is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in West Virginia
and Virginia as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. She was awarded
membership in the Order of Barristers while attending the West Virginia University
College of Law and was recently recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the fields of
civil litigation defense and appellate advocacy in West Virginia.
